King of the Hill 3 is coming!

King of the Hill 3, our biggest and best tournament of the year is Saturday, April 16. It's a PDGA and NEFA sanctioned event, so don't miss it. We sold out in less than 48 hrs last year!

This year Killer B Disc Golf is the presenting sponsor, so expect some cool stuff in your players pack. We've decided to keep this one inexpensive like we did for the Bare Bones Barre Open. Players pack will be worth more than your entry fee and like last year, this will be a trophy-only event for AMs. If you want to play for money, play Pro.

Some new things this year:
  • Current NEFA members receive a discounted entry fee, so join NEFA now. I'm the MA rep for NEFA, so feel free to ask me any questions. Non-PDGA members still have to pay an extra $10, per PDGA rules, however.
  • Last year's divisional winners receive a reserved spot, but still have to claim them on time.
  • A new fun contest at halftime.

I'll announce the opening of registration ahead of time. Last year we sold out in less than two days, so be ready.

One-of-a-kind hat and 242 pounds of food

Check this out over at Killer B Disc Golf. It's the only hat like this in existence. Your head deserves to feel special, doesn't it? Go bid on it!

In other news, I'll be dropping off the Ice Cube Open donations today. The Loaves and Fishes always seem to be closed whenever I go there! In all, we collected 242 lb of food! Wow!!!

Ice Cube photos

Sorry I didn't get more people this year. It's hard to play and take pictures of everyone, especially when you play with the same three guys for both rounds. If you took any, send 'em my way.

Disc golfers raise $1400 for local food pantry. Help us reach $1500!

Sunday's Ice Cube Open Ice Bowl was a huge success (and pretty fun too!). We broke last year's fundraising record by $300 but fell short of our goal by a measly $100. So close!

Please help us hit $1500 and help those in need. Thank you!

UPDATE: We hit our goal thanks to Phil V, Heather L, Mike O, and Eric K. Thanks guys!

In this totally unstaged photo opportunity, Chuck Gerbrands hands over some canned goods to Patty Stern from the Devens Loaves and Fishes.

Eventual AM1 champs John Giampapa and Roger Gagnon (both in camo) up to their knees with  Andy Duquette and Jason Thurlow.

Final results for the Ice Cube Open 4

More photos to come!
