More press for the Hill

I met Devens newbies, Greg and Paul, on the course yesterday.

They told me they came to play because they saw our latest article in the Sunday MetroWest Daily News.

Glad to see the power of the press really works! Read the article here.

I really enjoyed playing the Devens coarse Yesterday. My Buddy Greg Dowdell called me First thing Sunday and wanted to head up to the Devens course, that he just read an article about in the paper. I had my sites set on Maple Hill, but agreed it would be cool to check out a new coarse. Well cool might not be the right word, It was damn hot Yesterday hiking through the elavation changes of this coarse. The shade was a definate bonus Yesterday though. I really liked the way the coarse was disigned. It makes great use of terrain that is perfect for disk golf. I really liked the looks from the tees. There was some great use of Granite boulder obstructions. Just a real fun coarse to play. I had plans of playing two rounds after the first couple holes, but after finishing 18 I was done for the day. On a cooler day I'll try for a second round, but it was a good work out playing 18. Great job on the coarse, I'll try to make it up for one of the work days soon.

Thanks to every one involved with making this coarse happen. It's a great addition to the New England Disc Golf coarses.

Sorry man but I stink when it comes to remembering names, but it must have been you Mr Woof that talked with Greg and I Yesterday and took our picture at 3's Tee.

Thanks again
